Prema
Mehta is a stunning model and actress based out of Mumbai. When Prema’s friends
insisted that she try out modeling, she took the plunge and it paid off. Since
then she has shot for a large number of print campaigns and has also appeared
in a handful of popular television series. We recently caught up with the alluring
model to talk about her love for modeling, fashion and her aspirations.
IM: Can you tell us a bit about how you started your
modeling career? Prema: Many of my dear friends always use to tell me
that my face is very photogenic and meant for modeling and that I also carry a
good physic so you should try your hands in modeling industry but I use to
ignore them. But fortunately, I went for a photoshoot upon being insisted by my
friends and from then, I started getting more shoots and which by god grace is
still continuing.
IM: What do you love the most about being a model? Prema:I love to see when
people always have an eye on you as to see what are you wearing, how you are
carrying yourself and consider you as a fashion statement .To be precise - It
feels special.
IM: Where you into fashion before you started modeling? Prema: I feel I was born
with an element of fashion in me. I always used to make it sure that I look
pretty fashionable during schooling and college time as well.
IM: What the most important thing that you have learned as a
model? Prema: As a model I learnt
what professionalism is all about. Come what may or whatever would be your mind
state- You Have to Perform.
IM: Who are your fashion icons? Prema: Kangana

IM: 5 things you can’t do without when traveling? Prema:Hairstyling equipment, stilettos, Bioderma
make-up removing, face wash and body wash.
IM: You have acted in a couple of TV shows, Can you tell us
a bit about what the experience was like? Prema:Yes I have done
a couple of serials like "Aur Pyar Ho Gaya, Hatim, Savdhan India" The
experience was quite good I would like to do more of them in future. However,
modeling is my passion and thus always my first preference.
IM: Any actor that you would love to work with? Prema: My dream is to work with Salman Khan.
IM: what is your favorite thing to do when not working? Prema: I always prefer
searching a new work in my free time.
