the new age of digital scouting. For an aspiring model, accessibility
should be a priority. It needs to be done right. You should know how to
speak and you should be easy to talk to when you are contacted by real
agents & scouts. You can't afford to miss a legitimate modeling
agent/scout DM. But, make sure you revert to a legitimate
modeling agent or scout. Don’t let your excitement get the better of
you.
Fakers
often start out by asking for bikini shots. They are not legitimate
agents. Once they know you are willing to do that; they will ask you to
send nude photos. Don’t ever do this! It can have
serious consequences. When you do this, what happens
to it and where it goes next is often out of your control.
Never
meet an agent/scout alone or outside their office
If
an agent or scout wants to meet you in person and you are unsure who
you are meeting or you are meeting with the unknown agent for the first
time, it is best that you don’t go alone. Make sure that you take
someone with you or meet them at their known office address or in a
public place.
