professional dancer, Simran knows nearly every dance form that exists.
She is simple, yet passionate about her work. One of the best part
about her is personality, she is very positive inside and outside. She
knows that the equation of success is hard work and persistence. Simran is a bundle of hopes and aspiration.
IM: Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you go into modeling?
basically belong to a middle-class family. My father works for a bank
and my mother is a housewife. Apart from them I have an elder brother
who is married and runs a business.
My mother has always been a
great inspiration for me as she had a dream to step in the field of
glamour but could never proceed further because of family issues. Since
my childhood, I have always dreamt of being an artist. So, this passion
and dedication has got me through modeling.
|IM: You are also a professional dancer, can you tell us a bit about your training?|
Simran: I started dancing when i was 6 years old. I used to perform in my school and since then I started taking classes so that i could
groom myself properly. Slowly I started going for competitions for
city, state and national levels. I did my training under Alisha Singh
(Dance India Dance season 1). Then I did a reality show for DD national
(Close up Bharat Ki Shaan Let's Dance) and was declared as the winner
of the show in 2014. I danced professionally for 5 years. I am trained
in Bollywood, contemporary, hip hop, jazz funk, classical, semi classic
and many more. Dancing has been a great support for me throughout.
IM: What has been the best / wort experience you have had in your career as a model and a dancer?
and dancing have got me so many opportunities in life till now which
has helped me a lot in building my profile. Every moment when i perform and work with different types of people gives me the best experiences ever. And on the other hand if
I talk about the worst experience, then there is no such bad experience
in my career till now as I take everything in a positive way which
helps me learn so many things and help me grow as a person as well as
an artist or performer.
IM: What do you love the most about being in front of the camera?
love it when I get to express my inner self in front of the camera. I
love to perform and play different kind of roles as it becomes a
challenge to play someone else's character which is totally different
from your personality. I love challenges.
IM: How would you describe your personal style?
Simran: It would sound cliché but I totally love it when I am in my most comfortable clothes. I wear what I like and what suits my body type. I am not much of an accessories person but I like to experiment with my clothes.

Simran: I have a pretty long multi coloured shrug which I always mix match with my outfits. I have two light coloured blue denim jeans which I wear casually as well as for some good occasions which I can pair with anything. I have a very sexy dark green coloured skin fit dress which is one of my favs. I have another olive dress which fits me perfectly which I can wear anywhere I want to. I have singlets of around 20 colours which I can wear anytime with a jeans or maybe shorts or anything you want to pair it with. I have a lot of floral dresses which I totally love.
IM: Your favorite designers/labels?
Simran: My most favorite designer is Manish Malhotra. I like designs from Ritu kumar and Nishka Lulla as well.
IM: You Style icons?
Simran: I am a very big fan of Sonam kapoor in terms of style and also Deepika Padukone.
